When Is Scream 6 Coming to Paramount Plus: Scream 6, the next installment in the successful meta-horror franchise, opens in theatres on March 10, but when will it be available for streaming? Since its inception in 1996, the Scream franchise has been one of the most successful horror franchises, but Scream 6 will include new plot alterations.
Not only does Neve Campbell not return as legendary last girl Sidney Prescott, but Scream 6’s scenario also relocates Scream 5’s Woodsboro survivors to New York City, a vast expansion of Ghostface’s usual hunting areas. With a new perspective on the Ghostface murders and an all-star ensemble, Scream 6 is anticipated to be a massive box office triumph, maybe with the franchise’s best opening weekend. Scream 6 is anticipated to gross more than $140 million at the global box office, surpassing the earnings of Scream 2022.
As a result, Paramount is likely to keep a considerable theatrical exclusivity for the 2023 Scream film in order to boost its box office performance, which could affect the film’s date of streaming distribution. Yet, the studio has been mostly consistent with its shorter theatrical-to-streaming releases for horror pictures, suggesting that Scream 6 could arrive on Paramount Plus earlier than anticipated.

When Is Scream 6 Coming to Paramount Plus?
Paramount has not yet announced a date for the official streaming release of Scream 6. However, similar to Scream (2022)’s 53-day exclusive theatrical window, the film is anticipated to be added to Paramount Plus’s movie library approximately 46 days after its March 10 theatrical debut.
Consequently, Scream 6 could become available to stream on Paramount Plus as early as April 25. This date would be consistent with Paramount’s 46-day streaming release strategy for Smile and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in 2022. Despite the fact that Scream 6 could begin streaming on Paramount Plus in late April, the film’s potential to be a box office success suggests that it may be made available for streaming at a later date.

Scream 6 Cast
Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, and Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega are all poised to reprise their roles as the survivors of Scream (2022) for another battle with Ghostface. Barrera portrayed Sam, who was revealed to be the daughter of original Scream killer Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich); Ortega portrayed Sam’s sister Tara, who is not related to Billy.
Brown and Gooding also have ties to the original films, as their identical twin siblings Mindy and Chad are Randy Meeks’ niece and nephew (Jamie Kennedy). Hayden Panettiere is slated to reprise her Scream 4 role Kirby Reed in the upcoming film, bringing a blast from the past to the new generation of characters.
