A screenplay by Todd Berger and Robert Rugan, based on a scenario by John R. Morey and Berger, will be directed by Jeff Wadlow, who has previously worked on Nickelodeons Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot, Kick-Ass 2, and the Blumhouse picture Truth or Dare. Along with Rick Alvarez and Nathan Reimann, Wayans also works as a producer.
