How to Watch Yellowstone Season 5: The season four finale of the Paramount Network drama Yellowstone, which aired in January 2022, was viewed by more than 15 million viewers, displacing AMC’s The Walking Dead as the most-watched cable program. Season 5 of Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner as the patriarch of a large cattle ranching family, is due to launch on Sunday, November 13. We have all the information you need to catch up on prior seasons and watch Season 5 when it premieres.

On the series, Costner plays John Dutton, whose family’s claim to their property dates back centuries. However, the Duttons frequently find themselves in conflict with the owners of adjacent ranches and Indigenous groups in the area, as well as with each other.
While new episodes of Yellowstone will air weekly on the Paramount Network, here’s how to watch every season, including the upcoming one, on cable and streaming services.
What Is Yellowstone About?
On Yellowstone, the Dutton family are the affluent owners of the greatest cattle ranch in the United States, and they would do everything to preserve their property and their prestige. This frequently puts them in the crosshairs, whether from real estate developers seeking to intrude on their territory or from Indigenous groups seeking to regain what was stolen from them.
Costner is a series regular as John Dutton, a widower with three children. Powerful in the world of ranching, Dutton may take over as Governor of Montana this season, a position that his adoptive son Jamie (Wes Bentley) greatly desired for himself. Kelly Reilly stars as his daughter Beth Dutton, who has an on-again, off-again relationship with ranch worker Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), whom she married at the conclusion of the previous season.
In addition to the main cast members returning for season five, several recurring stars have been promoted to series regulars: Mo Brings Plenty, who plays Mo, and Wendy Moniz, who portrays Governor Lynelle Perry, will expand their roles, as will Jen Landon, who portrays ranch hand Teeter, and Kathryn Kelly, who portrays the ranch’s veterinarian, Emily.
Yellowstone season five debuts on November 13 on the Paramount Network; tune in to find out what happens to the Duttons and their adversaries following the conclusion of season four’s unfinished business (lassoed up?).
Where Can You Watch New Episodes of Yellowstone?
Beginning on Sunday, November 13, new episodes of Yellowstone will be accessible weekly on the Paramount Network. The new season will begin at 8 p.m. with a two-hour debut. ET/PT, and the show will run weekly thereafter. Unlike previous seasons, which consisted of nine or ten episodes, season five will consist of fourteen episodes, divided into two halves of seven episodes.
Yellowstone is not yet accessible to watch on Paramount+, despite the fact that it airs on the Paramount Network, and is therefore rather puzzling. You may instead view all previous episodes of the program on Peacock. (NBCUniversal acquired the Yellowstone streaming rights in 2020, but Paramount+ did not start until 2021.)
Season 5 episodes will be available for purchase on Amazon Prime, iTunes, and Vudu, and will ultimately be accessible on Peacock, but the specific date has not been announced. In the past, the streaming service has released the whole season’s episodes within a few weeks following the season finale.
Where Can You Stream Yellowstone?
Yellowstone seasons 1 through 4 are available to stream with a Peacock membership. These seasons are also available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video by the episode beginning at $1.99 or by the season beginning at $19.99. Additionally, past episodes may be seen on Philo and DirectTV.
