On Showtime as of the 16th of June, 2019, you may watch City on a Hill, an action crime drama. The series is Charlie MacLean’s brainchild, based on a story he and Hollywood heavyweight Ben Affleck adapted.
Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Jonathan Tucker, Mark O’Brien, Lauren E. Banks, Amanda Clayton, Jere Shea, Kevin Chapman, and Jill Hennessy all make appearances in the show.
Kevin Bacon, 64, who plays John “Jackie” Rohr, a former FBI agent, was interviewed by Parade and asked if he enjoyed playing a character who was so “morally compromised.”
In response, the actor said, “When you first become an actor, you start to rate your roles primarily on the number of words you have. Soon enough, it becomes clear that this is not the case. I completed several things in succession with minimal dialogue in an effort to push myself.
Now there is a voice I recognized immediately: Jackie’s. Many believe that a story is better if the protagonist is a villain. Not believable to me. Complicacy, unexpectedness, and the opportunity to try something new are what keep me coming back for more. Putting yourself in another person’s shoes is the key.
His “City on a Hill” supporters surely adore him and can’t wait for the fourth season. Season three is presently broadcasting, with the season finale set for September 18, 2022.
With so many threads left hanging at the end of the most recent season (3), it seems likely that the plot will be continued in the following installment. The promise of a fourth season can be a powerful incentive for a show to conclude a season on a cliffhanger. What we do know about City on a Hill’s upcoming fourth season is below.

Nonetheless, the Third Season only recently debuted in July and has published only one episode to date, and we anticipate that it will probably take at least a month or two for the show’s creators to reveal the renewal status of the prospective fourth season.

City on a Hill Season 4: Storyline Expectations
We’re still waiting to hear about the plot of a possible fourth season, but we’re crossing our fingers for a lot of unexpected turns and twists.
Since we don’t want to give away too much about what happened in the opening episode of City on a Hill Season 3, you can read the official premise of the season by scrolling down below:
The Boston elite of Beacon Hill is the focus of City on a Hill Season 3. After Jackie Rohr quit the FBI and threw his badge into Boston Harbor, the family he was protecting offered him a high-paying position as their head of security.
As long as nothing is shown, everything is OK. Decourcy Ward, an assistant district attorney, sees an inquiry as a chance to dismantle the systems that keep the criminal justice system from working.
While representing a construction worker who was gravely injured during the Big Dig, Siobhan Quays has to deal with the tragedy of the past year and the corruption she encounters in the city. Some experiences will haunt you beyond your breaking point, as Jenny Rohr’s history with her father shows.
It appears that fans will have to wait until season three is through before getting any information on what will happen next.
