Blood And Treasure Season 3: Release Date, Is This Series Coming in 2022!

Fans are unsure of how invested they should be in following Danny and Lexi on additional adventures now that Blood & Treasure Season 2 is finally available to view new episodes every Sunday on Paramount+.

When asked about the likelihood of a third season, Blood & Treasure co-creator Matthew Federman said, “We have a kind of ‘never say never’ and ‘never say die’ [attitude].” “Well, who knows, I guess. The band may always reunite if the numbers are extremely strong. In this world, there are a ton of stories we can share.

Speaking of “the band,” Matt Barr, who co-stars in Walker Independence on The CW, has a new show that will premiere this autumn. And while that would limit the actor’s availability, the fact that The CW and Paramount+ are both inside the Paramount fka ViacomCBS umbrella may favor the international drama — provided there is a desire for Season 3 of the show.

Federman recently responded to a question about Barr perhaps doing double duty on Twitter by saying, “We’d cross that bridge if we ever came to it, but it’s the same corporate umbrella, so I think it could be sorted out.

When TVLine talked with Barr at The CW Upfronts, he was eager to search for more gold and take on greater risk. confirming that after watching the Season 2 conclusion, people will beg for more, “They will, you bet! You can count on us releasing Season 3 five years from now, he proclaimed.

Stephen Scaia, the co-creator of Blood & Treasure, considers the release of Season 2 to be a major accomplishment after three years and significant production travel during the epidemic.

The fact that everyone survived the pandemic while filming on three different countries over however many months, including one legally mandated break, was “the miracle for me,” according to Scaia, who told TVLine. Without regard to where the plot develops further, “We went through so much to get it on screen for everyone, and I believe that’s a win in and of itself.”
