Armor Wars, a future Disney+ series starring War Machine, is based on a Marvel Comics event of the same name. Since Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., is no longer alive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes will take center stage in the live-action adaptation of the Iron Man plot. Armor Wars is anticipated to begin filming in Atlanta in early 2023, while there is no official release date as of yet.
Armor Wars in Marvel Comics Explained
In the comics, “Armor Wars” has two iterations: one from the 1980s and one from 2015; nonetheless, according to Disney’s announcements, its program is based on the original occasion. In the years 1987 to 1988, the Iron Man comic book included the “Armor Wars” saga. Tony Stark’s worries about how other characters in the Marvel Universe were using his armor were at the center of the story.
When Stark learned that his adversaries were using his innovations, he came to an unexpected conclusion.
Marvel’s Armor Wars Will Be Available on Disney Plus When?
Armor Wars hasn’t yet been given an official release date, but given Marvel’s busy schedule for the upcoming year, it probably won’t start until 2022 at the earliest.
Armour Wars and the related Marvel shows may only be viewed with a Disney Plus subscription. Now is the time to subscribe to Disney+ for £5.99 per month or £59.99 for a full year.
What Does Armor Wars Involve?
The deadly effects of Tony Stark’s worst nightmare—his technology getting into the wrong hands—will be depicted in Armour Wars, which was inspired by a comic book plot of the same name.
There hasn’t been much information released about the Disney Plus series other than the fact that it will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and will center on James “Rhodey” Rhodes (also known as War Machine).
Armor Wars Cast
Only Don Cheadle has been officially announced as part of the cast of Marvel’s Armor Wars, continuing his previous roles as James Rhodes in Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Endgame.
But the late Stark’s old foe Justin Hammer, a rival businessman who was previously depicted by Sam Rockwell in the 2010 film Iron Man 2, is a key character in the comic book tale.
This has fueled rumors that Rockwell would finally join the Marvel Cinematic Universe after a long absence. He was last spotted in the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray special feature All Hail The King, a short film.
Unfortunately, nothing has been proven in writing just yet, so unless Marvel or Disney themselves confirm them, they will stay rumors.

Is Tony Stark in The Armor Wars MCU?
David Michelinie and Bob Layton collaborated on the seven-issue Iron Man saga known as Armor Wars, which also included art by Mark D. Bright and Barry Windsor-Smith.
War Machine will supposedly investigate “what happens when Tony Stark’s technology slips into the wrong hands,” according to an earlier Disney Investor Day 2020 announcement. That tale is thought to be the basis for the MCU television series.
