Pop singer and fashion designer Gwen Stefani is American. She first became well-known in the 1990s as the main singer of the band No Doubt, but she has since enjoyed a very successful solo career.
On October 3, 1969, in Fullerton, California, Gwen Renée Stefani was born. She was brought up in the neighboring Californian city of Anaheim. Her mother, Patti (née Flynn), was an accountant before she settled down to be a housewife, while her father, Dennis Stefani, worked for Yamaha as a marketing executive. Todd, Eric, and Jill, along with Jill, are Stefani’s siblings.
Gwen Stefani’s older brother Eric formed the ska band No Doubt in 1986 and asked Gwen to sing with them. Keyboardist Eric played with the group. They joined Interscope Records in 1991, and in 1992 they released their debut studio album under their own name.
The single “Don’t Speak” from No Doubt’s third album “The Tragic Kingdom” (1995), which was released at a period when grunge music was more famous, went on to top the Hot 100 Airplay year-end list in 1997, two years after its release. At the time, however, grunge music was more widely known.
Who Is Gwen Stefani Dating
The most recent development in Gwen Stefani’s romantic life is that she and her longtime partner Blake Shelton are now engaged! But even before she began dating her co-star on The Voice, her love life had garnered as much attention as her well-known songs.
The men she’s dated have all been artists like her, despite the fact that their relationships have all been extremely different (and have occurred at very different stages in her life). Like, really, haven’t we all? Stefani has seen some highs and lows in love. We wish her the best of luck in the future and will tell you a little bit more about each of her previous relationships below!
Gwen Stefani’s Dating History
With her first love in show business, Tony Kanal, The Voice coach made her public dating debut. They dated while they were in No Doubt together, and they were together from 1987 to 1994. When they first started dating, Gwen admitted in an interview with The Guardian that she was more worried about the future of their relationship than her musical career. In 2005, she admitted to the magazine, “All I ever did was look at Tony and wish that God would let me have a child with him.”
In spite of the fact that Gwen and Tony’s split almost caused the band to disband, the group managed to resolve the issue and went on to perform together until 2015. Gwen later dated Bush singer Gavin Rossdale after her turbulent relationship with Tony ended. When both of their bands took the stage at a KROQ radio station event in 1995, the two people got acquainted.
Before getting married in 2002, they dated for a number of years. Gwen made the couple’s first child’s impending birth public in 2005. Gavin and she currently have three sons together: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. After nearly twenty years of marriage, they divorced in 2015. Their divorce was finalized by April of the following year after they filed for divorce in August 2015 due to “irreconcilable disagreements.”
