Aidan Gallagher Controversy: Despite Aidan Gallagher’s lack of experience, he is already a meme and the internet is awash with debate. According to the online controversies, Aidan Gallagher hated Umbrella Academy. However, one of the stars of the program has received some negative online reviews, despite the fact that the second season of Umbrella Academy is performing exceptionally well and is trending on Netflix.
Since the beginning of the program, Aidan Gallagher, who is just sixteen years old and a member of the varied group, has encountered just as many online haters as fans. If you visit Gallagher’s Instagram page, you’ll see that he replies to a few of the compliments left by his followers. It is possible to sometimes see him post about the backlash, though. But why is there a disagreement over Gallagher in the first place, and what specifically has he done to merit criticism? Furthermore, why does he appear to be despised and the subject of jokes on TikTok?
According to reports, Gallagher has made a number of questionable claims on social media:
Twitter users are still debating claims that Gallagher, who portrays Number 5 on The Umbrella Academy, has been harassing fans online and making dubious remarks regarding a number of delicate themes. Even though Gallagher has made an effort to defend himself by refuting the accusations brought against him, some people still have their doubts.
In a screenshot taken by a fan, he is heard to have said, “If I’m being completely honest, I’d ask that if you’re feeling down you stay away from this room so that you don’t drag the rest of the group down with you and so that you don’t end up feeling even worse. He has reportedly commented on topics like depression while chatting. That is absolutely not what I desire. Moderators, please stop anybody from bringing up sadness. “And now on Twitter SOMEONE stole a screen shot and is saying I’m depressed or against depression,” Gallagher said in an effort to justify himself.
Some of his supporters, however, think that his replies to being called out just served to exacerbate the problem because he insisted that some of the individuals speaking about depression were merely looking for attention. Some of his supporters have been persuaded to infer by this assertion that the situation has worsened as a result of his remarks.
Then, he said, “…depressed, and it pulled the whole conversation down like toxic so I said THIS IS NOT the place to discuss depression because it takes professional assistance not a mob room mentality and to not come here to discuss it because it’s too important an issue and, honestly, is contagious.” After that, Gallagher started talking about how it “betrayed his confidence” because others were capturing screenshots of what he was saying.
Furthermore, it’s been asserted that he made up his cancer diagnosis. When a fan inquired about the oddness of his hair, Gallagher said, “It’s a hairpiece or wig. Chemotherapy caused me to lose my hair. It is well known that. He reportedly posted, “If you check on my Instagram there are images of me bald because I’m not embarrassed of cancer,” in addition to other things.
One YouTube fan even compiled all of the rumored comments Gallagher made on social media, including those about being antagonistic, instances of him harassing others online, and the claim that he referred to his followers as a group of 13-year-old chicks in conversations. You may get the compilation here.
He allegedly posted a comment in which he asserted that multi-billion dollar corporations “that illegally pollute and destroy our planet” are to blame for the hatred directed at him and that they employ public relations agencies and social media specialists to pose as teenagers in order to discredit him.
Aiden wrote, “In recent times, I’ve been exposed to a lot of claims that allege I’ve said remarks that I have never uttered,” in a post he posted on Instagram, which has since been deleted. People continue to “quote” me on things that I never truly said.

Stating that I oppose women’s rights or mental health, two issues I have fought for years, is akin to saying that I oppose the environment. I don’t know why, but it seems like the rumors are becoming wilder and stranger. Some people have made up screenshots of stuff, saying the pictures show them saying crazy things about me.
Gallagher’s ardent followers, who believe him when he says the screenshots were made up, are set against others who believe Gallagher is attempting to cover himself up and keep putting his foot in his mouth.
Additionally, a Reddit thread questioning why Aidan Gallagher is hated has surprisingly divergent responses. The phrase “We Want to Make Fun of Aidan Gallagher to His Face” even has a Go Fund Me website, however it only has a $100 goal (we don’t support the hatred).
People Make Jokes About Him and The Situation Overall on Tik Tok:
The drama that started on Twitter and continued on Instagram over the course of the past year is presently trending on Tik Tok. Users now have another incentive to poke fun of Gallagher on the internet since he has launched a career in music.
The Gallagher song She has gained popularity on the Tik Tok app, and fans have begun making jokes about the actor’s singing talent there. They parody his pronunciation of “love” by creating the Tik Tok jokes “Lauv by Lauv” and “Loaf by Loaf” to make fun of it.
Even worse, until he either bans them or asks them to stop, people will repeatedly write “Lauv by Lauv” and “Loaf by Loaf” on his social media profiles. Additionally, he has received messages from a number of accounts expressing their admiration for him, and when he thanks them, the accounts respond with the word “sike!”
He allegedly added (again, supposedly) the following in another of these instances: “I can see straight through your charade. If you message me once more, I’ll write a song about your missing body. What’s funny is that Gallagher has started using the term “love.”
Despite all that has occurred, it is still unclear who to believe: Gallagher or the fans. We do know, though, that there is a ton of Gallagher-related content on social media, as well as an endless supply of memes and jokes. His supporters continue to adore him despite the fact that not everything you read online can be trusted.
