Early Life

In Longview, Texas, on November 10, 1983, a baby girl named Miranda Leigh Lambert was born. Her family consisted of mom Bev, dad Rick (a retired cop), and little bro Luke. Both of Mirandas parents worked as private detectives and were involved in the investigation of the Bill Clinton-Paula Jones controversy; Rick was a member of a country-rock band in the 1970s.

Due to financial hardship brought on by the Texas oil bust, the family relocated to Lindale. Bev and Ricks situation improved over time, and they eventually opened their house to victims of domestic violence as part of their faith-based ministry.
