Effen Vodka Deal

It was rumoured (but not proven) in July 2017 that 50 had sold his minority ownership in Effen Vodka for $60 million. 50 Cent confirmed on Instagram that the deal went place, but did not confirm the $60 million figure that DJ Envy mentioned on The Breakfast Club radio show. The number was reported by Envy without a source or proof.

It is possible that the number originated from 50, which would be really intriguing to know and might indicate its veracity, but it could also be an exaggeration. We are presently awaiting more official confirmation sources; hence, this figure has not yet been incorporated into 50’s net worth given above.

Starz Deal

Personal Life

50 Cent and his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins have a baby. The birth of Marquise Jackson occurred in October 1996. Tompkins later filed a $50 million lawsuit against Jackson, which was dismissed. Many times, the two have engaged in a feud via social media.

In 2005, after fellow rapper Kanye West criticized President George W. Bush for his poor reaction to the Hurricane Katrina crisis, 50 supported Bush. Later, in 2008 and 2016, Jackson endorsed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Despite the content of many of his songs, Jackson does not consume alcohol or drugs.

After strolling through Cincinnati International Airport in May 2016, Jackson harassed and insulted an airport cleaner by accusing him of being under the influence. As it turned out, the janitor was a teenager with autism and hearing loss. The video went viral, and the teenager’s parents sought to sue 50 Cent. They settled for a $100,000 gift to Autism Speaks and an apology from 50 Cent.
