Saturday marked the debut of Rosie O’Donnell and her new partner, Aimee Hauer, on the red carpet. At the Stand Up for Friendly House comedy event at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, the former “The View” co-host and Hauer were photographed laughing and holding hands while posing for photographs.
It was a memorable evening for O’Donnell, 60, who hosted the sold-out event. Kathy Griffin, who returned to the stage for the first time while battling lung cancer, was also in attendance. The “Now and Then” actress joined Hauer on Instagram on June 1, which was also the first day of Pride Month.
In 2021, Hauer disclosed on the podcast “Lesbian Speaking” that she was reared as a devout Mormon in Boise, Idaho. She married “out of obligation” at age 21 and gave birth to a daughter called Izzie. Five years later, she divorced and fought for her daughter in court for eight years before gaining exclusive possession. She has a son as well.

Previously, the star of “Sleepless in Seattle” was engaged to Boston police officer Elizabeth Rooney. The relationship between the two ended in late 2019 after two years.
O’Donnell was once married to Kelli Carpenter, with whom she has children Parker, 27, Chelsea, 24, Blake, 22, and Vivienne, 19, and Michelle Rounds, with whom she adopted daughter Dakota, now 9 years old. In 2017, Rounds sadly died by suicide.
