Lauren Lyle, An Actor From Outlander, Is Working To Revive Interest In The Name Karen

Brilliant Outlander Lauren Lyle is on a mission to make Karen “cool again.”

The other will soon be seen as DS Karen Pirie in a new STV cold case slaying drama based on a series of novels by Val McDermid about a young Scots investigator.

She’s so enamored with her appearance that she’s determined to dispel any negative associations with the moniker.

“My Karen is a cool underrated woman in a man’s world, with confidence and absolute flaming adventuresomeness to go out and accomplish what she needs to do without relying on anyone,” said Lauren, best known for playing Marsali Fraser in “Outlander.”
