The headline performance by Megan Thee Stallion at Brixton Academy comes after concerts at Glastonbury and Wireless Festival, where she sang “WAP” with Cardi B. It comes before a headlining performance at the Reading & Leeds Festival in 2022.
Megan is scheduled to perform in Leeds on Saturday after closing Reading’s Main Stage West on Friday night (August 25). (August 26). Before her, Glass Animals, Joy Crookes, and Wallows are all scheduled to perform. On the Main Stage East, Dave will take the stage following Little Simz, Polo G, and Griff.
The three-day event will also feature performances by Arctic Monkeys, Halsey, Bring Me The Horizon, Rage Against The Machine, and others.
Megan launched her third brand-new song of the year in April. ‘Plan B’ came after March’s ‘Sweetest Pie,’ which starred Dua Lipa, and February’s ‘Flamin’ Hottie,’ a commercial for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Flamin’ Hot Doritos.
In a recent interview, Megan discussed the project and claimed that she and Lipa have a “unspoken bond.”
When someone is that attractive and successful, you never know what to anticipate, she added. “Many women have a tendency to be diva. But Dua is really sweet. She had the feeling of an old friend. We have a link that is unsaid; we don’t even need to talk about it.
Megan stated that her second album, the follow-up to 2020’s “Good News,” is “95 percent done” earlier this year, confirming that it is virtually complete.
